    Sir wohi error de raha hai NULL wala Master page ka contanplaceholder1 b use kiya phr b ?

      I got this error too, so I used TextBox nameTxt = new TextBox() instead of var nameTxt and it worked.Though it is an old comment but it may be useful for other beginners who are watching this tutorial and practicing.
